		<description>What about a plan that gives money to public transit, fixes sidewalks and builds bike lanes rather than keeping LA addicted to its car culture?  The sidewalks and bike lanes are in pretty bad shape in your district.  When are you going to start working to improve infrastructure that will get people out of their cars?</description>

I like the program but from an environmental standpoint it could be a lot better. I&#039;d like to see the credit amount = 100 X MPG of the new car. So a 45 MPG car would get you a $4500 credit.
